Accident From Long Ago; A Revelation?

If you remember awhile back I told you about meetins myself and a few other Moon Mages had with Guildmistress Glywyn. I neglected to mention something that I recently remembered and I’d like to share it with you.

Glywyn told me that an accident occured 400 years ago. A group of young and inexperienced mages deciphered enough of the text to attempt a group prediction.

For the first three days, things went fine. The mages uncovered many things to come. But this is when things start to go wrong. The mages didn’t realize that doing group predictions had actually weakend the barrier between the planes of reality and the Void.

A shadowmaster was able to break out of the Void and killed 100’s of people. The beast was horrible and most there that survived were afraid to talk of it.

Glywyn, unfortunately, never told us how they finally defeated the beast 400 years ago.

Now it may be a conincidence but it seems to me the Moon Mage Council has been doing group predictions over the obelisk in Taisgath. I hope they are more careful this time, or else we may see a shadowmaster, and I don’t think anyone wants that.
