A True Injustice!

(Riverhaven, Therengia: 166 Uthmor 352)

A little earlier today, in the month of Uthmor, the year 352, a true injustice has occured. A 17th circle Barbarian had been called to help his own kin. His own nephew Bermethius, a 7th circle Warrior Mage, had been out hunting when a stranger named Knitemare came into his hunting spot and began hunting there. Being the kind hearted mage he is, Bermethius kindly asked Knitemare to leave who only responded by brushing Bermethius off, and continuing to kill beasties that wandered into Bermethius’ spot. Bermethius then decided that since talking does not work he would try to scare Knitemare away by aiming at him. Knitemare then took it upon himself to kill Bermethius and steal the weapon Bermethius had.

Bermethius contacted his uncle who was only a little bit away. Drazonlore came down to talk to Knitmare who only responded to Drazonlore by brushing him off as well.

Since talking did not work, Drazonlore reported this incident to the Guardian Mages who responded by saying "WE CANT HELP YOU, SO YOU NEED TO DEAL WITH IT PERSONALLY." (This statement is becoming the only thing GMs say to people.)

Being told to handle it by himself, Drazonlore gave Knitemare one more chance to return Bermethius’ weapon or he would meet his own demise at the hands of Drazonlore. Knitemare again shrugged off this warning, and at that moment he met his demise.

(For a brief history lesson, before the Realms came to the ways of the web, grave robbing was a major discussion between both the Guardian Mages and the citizens, with the final verdict being, grave robbing will not be tolerated. It used to be that if you reported someone grave robbing they were immediately dealt with.)

Now back to the story, when Draz killed Knitemare he was then not given just a little meager find but given a 9PLAT fine.

Though Drazonlore is a 17th circle barbarian he is not the richest man, so he would have to pay his fine out of the money he was saving so he could marry his fiance`. But he was willing to take his licks, he knew that the town was pretty strict on violence within the city gates. However, before he got to the bank to pay his fine he was locked out of town, and from the 3 Provinces!

As we all know you have only an hour to pay off your debt before your things are sold. Being locked out he had no choice but to lose his stuff. This is a grave injustice my fellow elanthians. Drazonlore did not murder in cold blood he did the only thing he could since the neither Guardian Mages or Knitemare himself would give him another choice. So instead of the spot-stealing, murdering, grave-robber being punished, who is punished? The one who came to help his kin after GMs told him he would have to hand this situation himself.

I URGE YOU MY FELLOW ELANTHIANS COMPLAIN TO YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT(AKA GMS) TO RELEASE DRAZONLORE AND GIVE HIM HIS THINGS BACK. ALSO URGE THEM TO BRING THE TRUE CRIMINAL IN THIS CASE, KNITEMARE, TO JUSTICE. I THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO READ ABOUT YET ANOTHER ERROR IN JUDGEMENT MADE BY A GMs.

Thank you,
