Lockpick Carving Taught to All

Reports from throughout Elanthia tell of some frustrated citizens wandering about in a shattered daze, leaving bits of broken keyblanks strewn behind them.

Lockpick carving, long the domain of the Guild of Shadows, has found its way out into the mainstream with the leaking of some key teaching information.

Common citizens will not find themselves carving up Master lockpicks, or even lockpicks of any quality soon, but many loud voices have been heard from the Shadowy Profession, decrying the practice at all.

Still, the secrets of real success lay in the mastery of the special techniques taught only by the Shadow Masters themselves, and not the common lessons on the streets.

With all this new fracas, many report the lessons are not fulfilling, and those who previously carved fine lockpicks are having far more difficulty with it.

Time will tell, of course, but I’ll bet that the best lockpicks in this town, or any other, are going to still be coming from Professionals, not amatuers.
