Large Cemetary Invasion

Once again, the Cemetary located outside the Crossing Northeast gate has been attacked by unholy creatures. While wandering down the Northern Trade Route, checking out the selection of the new homes, a group of people passed. They were talking excitedly about an attack.

Following them to the Lich Gate, I was immediatley attacked by a large assortment of creatures. Among them, lesser and greater skeletons,tortured souls, dark fiends, vengeful shades, the dreaded bony flygias, revenant zombies, death spirits,and bone mammoths.

This large force of creatures managed to slaughter a great many Elanthians, including yours truly. My fire and lightning spells proved useless. The bone mammoths were a site to see, ripping through adventurers like mud.

But it was a flygia that broke through my defenses. Chantin their evil words, they scared many a defender off with their mysterious fear. I witnessed many a person run screamin off to the Crossing in mortal terror.

Whatever the cause, the creatures were finally beaten back before the reached the Crossing Gates, if that was there goal. Many thanks to to empaths and clerics who helped clean up the deceased.
