The Order of the Black Fox Announces an Amateur Songfest!
(The Three Provinces: 144 Shorka 355)
The Order of the Black Fox is sponsoring an Amateur Songfest on September 25th and 26th by the Olde World Calendar at the Half Pint Inn in the Crossing. Since this is an amateur contest, contestants from all but the Bardic guild will be competing in one of the ten categories listed below. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category and an overall grand prize will be awarded with two runners up. In addition people’s choice awards will be granted to the audience favorite determined by popular vote at the event. The judges will be members of the bard guild.
So dust off your instruments, whip out the parchment, write yourself an award winning ditty and perform for an enthousiastic audience. If you’re not musically inclined then come listen to your friends, enjoy the drinks, and vote for your favorite song.

- Tragedy –
- Battle Epic – There have been many great battles in the realms, this is a song of one of them.
- Song of Heroes – song about someone you consider a hero. Need not be a battle hero.
- Song of the Gods – Song about one or more of the gods of the realms
- Love Song –
- Bawdy song – Keep it clean folks!
- Sea Chanty – A song with a nautical theme.
- Drinking Song-
- Miscellaneous – A song that just doesn’t fit into any other category.
