Paladin Guild Humiliated

(The Provinces: Ka’len 356)

A few days ago the paladin guild was attacked by ogres. However, because of recent paladin guild rules there is no fighting. So the ogres remained in the guild unable to battle us and we, unable to battle them.

So some people decide to get smart and begin to cast on em and use ranged weapons. Of course the paladin’s figuring they’re going to be intelligent decide to halt or drag anyone out who attacks the ogres because they say it is their pally duty to protect them.

I think the ogres would’ve killed anyone they could’ve given the chance. So then Sir Mistified decides hes going to be intelligent (rather hard for him) and he says that the ogres are trying to communicate with the pallys and that everyone should leave that aren’t paladins so that they can ‘talk’ to the critters. So sitting in the guild, everyone unable to talk (because if they did Mistified would drag them out), the ogres somehowdissapear and get away. Alive to fight another day because of moronic theories by the paladins.

[Baresh notes the storyteller must have been way in his cups by this point, and the story abruptly ended. But since he can not find Jowya again to ask how it ended, all we know is this much. Maybe Jowya has slept it off by now and can send in the rest of the story soon?]
