Wren Shares a Dream

(The Crossing, Zoluren: 54 Ka’len 357)

First off I’d like to apologize to Dreamheart, and all of you readers for the lateness of this submission. That having been said let us move on to the account.

A few days prior to this happening, the bardess Wren had a dream. Was vague in her memory with little details. She was telling a few people in the Crossings about it, but few concrete details could be established.

I ask all readers to keep in mind the fact that Wren’s dreams have been prophetic in the past.

Then she visited us again and had the dream written as a poem. As she recited it so I’ll tell it here:

Wren recited:

"The lark in the morning

Our sweet rest does leave

With his shout of far warning

Then shall the dreamer weave."

"The heart of the thorne

Holds a secret and a key

With his touch those forlorn

Find the song to set them free."

"So waters lift

And waters drown

And larks will learn to fly

And treasure lost is newly found

By the thorne that shall not die."

"The silver and the black

Like stars across the night

Sound weeping strings that snap

And a circle joined to fight –"

"So waters lift

And waters drown

And larks will grow to flight

And as the thorne is then unbound

So shall be won thy fight."

During these two nights she also expressed her concern for the safety of her guildmates. So any bards reading this, be on guard.

By my hand,
