Wood trolls learning blend!?

Swamp trolls have sure footin’ in the swamps; Rock trolls have tremor for the ground; Wood trolls have…blend? A few days ago I was at the Northeast gate of the Crossing when someone asked for help, three deaders in the wood troll area. I proceeded there, and found that a single wood troll had struck down quite a few people, above 15th circle.

I fired at the troll, hit him easily enough as he advanced me, then the tables turned — the wood troll bashed at me, driving my lungs into my throat and severely stunnin’ me. After the stun, I proceeded to remove his head with a lovely, medium edged curved blade that y’all can pick up at the crossin’ fer a few silver.

After runnnin’ to the empaths and having my lungs carefully put back in place, I returned to the place, and several of the deaders said this is what they saw before he slayed them:

"A wood troll suddenly stands perfectly still. You notice its skin slowly change color, blending into the surroundings. The wood troll soon becomes restless and starts to move, shattering the illusion."

They’re learning my friends…I mean sure, they deserve somethin’ fer their defense, but I hope they don’t start pickin’ my pockets now, or ice skatin’ on my ice patch.
