Night of Fear-laced Story and Song!

(Crossing, Zoluren: 397 Nissa 362)

Other guests to the bar gasp when they see a white ghost head in the doorway, but on closer inspection they realize that it has legs and is rather lumpy from all the possesions underneath the sheet.

Baresh eyes the ghost and you can just tell he is thinking about how foolish it is.

A familiar voice speaks from underneath the sheet.

"Me again Baresh!" it says.

When it realizes how ludicrous it seems, the wearer removes the sheet and becomes Tahatia again.

"Just trying out my old costume," Tahatia smiles broadly and laughs good-naturedly.

"Baresh, I’d like to tell you of an event! Tell the folks to mark their Olde Calendars for a Night of Fear-laced Song and Story (as I’ve been calling it) on the 23 of this month," she says in an excited tone.

"Its a Song Circle, Baresh, in costume!" she giggles at her metaphor and struggles to turn off her poetic senses while she gives out her information. "This will be a special night. We’re holding it at the Viper’s Nest Inn at 9 Elven time and we’re having a theme of scary songs or stories."

Tahatia leans against the bar as she folds her ghost sheet carefully.

"We’ll also be holding a costume contest," she sounds really excited about this point. "There will be three prizes for the best costumes."

She lowers her voice, "A tip for the wise, acting in character will help your chances."

Tahatia hums happily.

"Oh and Baresh?" she remembers suddenly. "Let folks know that they can reach me if they have any questions, would like to pre-book a song or ya know, whatever. I’m often in the Bards’ Guild or my messenger is BardTahatia@aol.com."

The bard smiles happily as she makes sure nothing else needs to be said.

"Thanks for lending me your ear!" Tahatia winks, leaves some coins on the bar and slips out the door.
